Poem – Separate

Love’s bittersweet embrace,

The journey we now face.

Where once entwined, two souls in  rhyme,

Now seek solace in a separate paradigm.

Like autumn leaves, we drift upon life’s breeze,

Parting directions, a choice that brings unease.

Yet hope lingers, a flicker in the night,

That our paths will intertwine again, ignite.

For love’s flame will flicker, but never die,

As we learn to spread our wings, touch the sky.

In separation’s realm, we find room to grow,

Discovering ourselves, as new seeds we sow.

Through tear-stained moments and aching hearts,

We’ll nurture wounds, for healing always starts.

With time’s gentle touch, wounds will slowly mend,

Allowing love’s rebirth, a chance to transcend.

In this chapter of separation’s tome,

We’ll learn to dance, find joy, and call it home.

For even now, our love’s never lost,

It weaves through memories, no matter the cost.

So let us wander, brave and unafraid,

Embrace this change, as light seems to fade.

With open hearts, we’ll cherish what we have,

And build a future where love’s flame won’t be sad.

Births the chance to love anew,

To mend our souls, and cherish what is true.

And when the time is right, if fate allows,

Our love will find its way back, and thus, we’ll vow.

To embrace the beauty of a second chance,

To rekindle love’s fire in a blissful dance.

For in this journey, as our paths untwine,

We’ll forge a love that’s stronger, so divine.

So, dear wife, take heart in this rhyme’s refrain,

That love’s separation is not in vain.

Your heart will heal, and Jesus’s light guide your way,

To a future where love blooms, come Christ’s will may.
