Poem – No Touch

In the depths of solitude, a silent ache,
A struggle unspoken, a path hard to take.
No touch, no intimacy, a void in my soul,
The struggle of longing, takes its heavy toll.

Desire’s flame, once burning bright and fierce,
Now smolders in longing, unquenched and pierced.
The touch of another, a distant memory,
Lost in the labyrinth of this lonely journey.

Passion’s whispers, like a phantom’s caress,
Haunt the corridors of my loneliness.
Yearning for connection, the warmth of embrace,
Yet trapped in a realm where desires must face.

Society’s judgments, they cast their cruel gaze,
Labeling, stigmatizing, causing dismays.
But deep within, a flame still flickers and yearns,
To break free from this struggle, to unlearn.

For the struggle of connection is not a flaw,
Nor a burden to bear, nor a moral law.
It’s a journey of discovery, raw and real,
An exploration of desires, a chance to heal.

In patience and resilience, I shall find my way,
Embracing my truth, without shame or dismay.
For intimacy exists in various forms,
Beyond physicality, where connection transforms.

So, I’ll navigate this struggle with strength and grace,
Embracing my essence, with an open embrace.
Knowing that within me, a power resides,
To find fulfillment and love, where the soul presides.
