In darkest hours, when shadows loom,
And evil’s grip engulfs the room,
I turn to faith, where hope resides,
In Jesus’ love, my soul confides.
For in His teachings, I find the way,
To face the pain that clouds my day,
His gentle words, a soothing balm,
Bring solace to my heart’s deep calm.
When suffering tests my spirit’s might,
I look to Jesus, a guiding light,
He bore the cross, endured the strife,
To show me grace, to give me life.
Though evil tempts with cruel disdain,
In Christ’s embrace, I shall remain,
For His redemption, steadfast and sure,
Delivers me from pain’s allure.
In prayer, I find a tranquil peace,
When all around seems to decrease,
Jesus, my refuge, steadfast and true,
With every step, He’ll see me through.
So let the storms of life assail,
With hope and faith, I shall prevail,
For in Jesus’ love, my strength is found,
His grace, eternal, knows no bound.
