Devo – Psalms 75

Verse 1-2: The psalmist begins by giving thanks to God and proclaiming His name, declaring His wondrous deeds.

Verse 6-8: The psalmist emphasizes that promotion and exaltation do not come from human efforts or scheming but from God, who holds the power to exalt and bring down.

Verse 9-10: The psalmist expresses confidence that the wicked will be brought low, but the righteous will be exalted and receive the cup of God’s wrath.

Verse 11-12: The psalm concludes with a declaration of praise to God, and the righteous will flourish like a palm tree and grow like a cedar in Lebanon.
