This Year’s Crucible

In the crucible of this tumultuous year,
Where trials surge like waves in stormy seas,
I find my strength, my faith, and purpose clear,
For Christ, my guiding light, brings me to my knees.

Each dawn unfurls a new and daunting task,
A test of strength, resilience, and resolve,
Yet in the darkness, I can gently bask
In the loving grace of He who does absolve.

When sorrow’s tears do stain my weary cheeks,
And shadows whisper doubts into my heart,
I turn to Christ, the one who never speaks
But in the silence, bids the doubts depart.

In suffering’s grip, I feel His presence near,
A whispered promise that He’ll never leave,
And in the depths of my most crippling fear,
His boundless love will never, ever cleave.

The winds of change and loss, they howl and roar,
Yet Christ, the steadfast anchor of my soul,
Holds firm, unwavering, by His word,
As I navigate life’s tempestuous shoal.

With faith as armor and resilience strong,
I face each challenge, every bitter storm,
For through the trials, I find where I belong,
In Christ’s embrace, my heart begins to warm.

Though pain and suffering may mark this year,
They also forge my spirit, make me whole,
And in the darkest moments, I hold dear
The faith in Christ that fortifies my soul.

So, let the challenges of this year fade,
For in the crucible, my spirit grows,
With Christ as guide, I am not afraid,
And by His grace, I find my strength anew.
