Deeper Vision Regained

Facing possible pain and death, a deeper vision regained,
A lens to see life’s treasures, pure and bright.
Through suffering’s crucible, the truth attained,
Of what in life holds meaning, true and right.

In Jesus’ love, I found my steadfast ground,
My faith’s identity, a guiding light.
A rock on which my weary soul is bound,
A brightness to shine no matter where we are.

Within the circle of community’s embrace,
I found the strength and unity to stand.
Supporting hands in my life’s relentless race,
Together facing storms, hand in hand.

My children, blessings like the morning dew,
In their sweet laughter, love’s eternal flame.
Their smiles, a reminder of what’s truly won,
In their pure hearts, I find my dearest aim.

And in my partner, I love her in all,
Her strength and grace, my admiration in the strife.
A love that stands unyielding, never small,
Thanks to God, I’ve found the heartbeat for her in my life…again.

Through medical trials, clearer now I see,
Life’s precious gifts, unburdened and free.
Love, faith, community, family, and more,
These treasures I’ll forever hold in store.
