No Earthly Refuge

In moments of darkness, shadows converge,
I seek not earthly refuge but heavens above.
Leaning on God’s grace, His unwavering love.

In trials that test the core of my being,
I find strength not in muscles or lore,
But in the boundless wellspring of the divine,
A reservoir of power, forever mine.

When tempests of sins threaten to consume,
I strive for self-control, the heart’s sweet bloom,
For God’s gentle whisper, a calming breeze,
Guides me through storms with exquisite ease.

And in this sacred journey, I’ve come to see,
That to love oneself is to set one free,
For God’s love within, a radiant sun,
Illuminates my soul, where I am one.

So, in the fortitude of this life, we travel,
I lean on God, in whom I believe,
For guidance, strength, self-love’s warm embrace,
In His boundless grace, I find my place.
