Exodus 2 contains the story of Moses’ early life:
- Exodus 2:1-2 – “Like Jochebed, I can demonstrate faith and courage even in challenging circumstances, trusting that God is in control.”
- Exodus 2:3-4 – “Just as Miriam watched over her brother Moses, I can find ways to protect and support those around me, especially when they’re vulnerable.”
- Exodus 2:5-6 – “I should trust that God’s plan may involve unlikely circumstances or people, just as Pharaoh’s daughter played a crucial role in Moses’ life.”
- Exodus 2:10 – “Similar to Moses being raised in Pharaoh’s household, I can make the most of the opportunities and environments that God places me in.”
- Exodus 2:11-12 – “Instead of acting impulsively like Moses did, I can learn to wait for God’s timing and guidance when addressing injustices.”
- Exodus 2:23-25 – “Like the Israelites crying out for help, I should remember that God hears my prayers and is always attentive to my needs.”
