Verse 1: “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.”
my application: As I walk through life, I trust that the Lord, my shepherd, will provide for all my needs. I have no lack when I follow Him.

Verse 2: “He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters.”
my application: In times of weariness and unrest, I can find rest and peace in the presence of my loving shepherd.

Verse 3: “He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.”
my application: When I feel broken or lost, my shepherd restores my spirit and guides me on the right path, bringing honor to His name.

Verse 4: “Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.”
my application: In times of darkness or difficulty, I find comfort knowing that my shepherd is by my side, protecting and guiding me.

Verse 5: “You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.”
my application: Despite challenges or adversaries, my shepherd blesses me abundantly, providing for me even in the face of opposition.

Verse 6: “Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.”
my application: Throughout my life’s journey, I am assured of God’s goodness and mercy. Ultimately, I look forward to an eternal home in His presence.
