Poem – Reunited Love

Amidst the dusky forest of my heart’s tangled glade,
I wandered lost, in shadows, my love’s light did fade.
A labyrinth of thorns, doubts, and fears, my soul betrayed,
Seeking redemption’s bloom, beneath the starry cascade.

Then, like a guiding star, Jesus appeared in the night,
A lighthouse of hope, casting shadows to flight.
His presence, an ethereal moon, casting silvery light,
A beacon of grace, leading me from the blight.

On bended knees, I implored, my heart’s plea unfurled,
A fragile butterfly seeking liberation from the world.
His love, a prism’s kiss, in kaleidoscopic whirls,
Unveiling colors of forgiveness, the flag unfurled.

With a brush dipped in compassion, He painted my soul,
An artist of salvation, mending fragments to make me whole.
Through the gallery of trials, He etched a sacred scroll,
In each stroke of grace, His divine symphony did unroll.

In the chapel of rebirth, the canvas found its theme,
A vast of renewal, woven in love’s redeeming beam.
The autumn leaves of remorse danced away in a dream,
As spring’s embrace adorned my heart’s meandering stream.

Through the stained glass of grace, our spirits did blend,
A dance of metamorphosis, from ashes to transcend.
In the garden of forgiveness, my soul found a friend,
As I reunited with my wife and family, love did ascend.
