In shadows deep, day eleven arrived,
A solemn path, my heart contrived.
Separated from wife and family dear,
Within my soul, a longing severe.
As I pondered on this trial’s might,
My thoughts took flight, seeking a guiding light.
In Psalms 11, solace I found,
Words of wisdom, my spirit unwound.
“The Lord is in His holy temple,” it said,
His watchful eyes upon us are spread.
Though trials surround us, fears may arise,
His steadfast presence never denies.
Like a refuge, His arms open wide,
In His embrace, I find solace inside.
He tests the righteous, His gaze discerns,
A balm of strength, my weary heart yearns.
Day eleven, a reminder profound,
That in faith, blessings can be found.
For in His timing, reunion will bloom,
Embracing loved ones, dispelling the gloom.
So let us trust, though we’re apart,
Love’s sacred bond shall never depart.
With hope as my anchor, faith as my guide,
Day eleven, shall not divide.
In this separation’s tempestuous sea,
I find solace, knowing the Lord’s with me.
Day eleven, a chapter in this tale,
Where love endures, and prayers prevail.
