In solitude’s embrace, I stand apart,
The 10th day, an ache within my heart.
Separated from my love, my cherished wife,
Yearning for her presence, this tender strife.
As I reflect upon the Psalms so wise,
Psalm 10 whispers, lifting my weary eyes.
It speaks of those who boast and thrive in wrong,
The wicked, proud, who darkness does prolong.
Like verses written in the ancient tome,
My days without her echo and bemoan.
But in these words, I find solace and light,
A beacon to guide me through the darkest night.
Though distance separates, our souls entwined,
Bound by love’s unyielding tie, refined.
With faith as my shield, I’ll persevere,
Knowing that love’s flame burns ever near.
Like the psalmist’s plea for justice and grace,
I seek strength and hope in this lonely space.
I trust that soon our paths will intertwine,
Reuniting hearts that long to intertwine.
So, on this 10th day of longing’s quest,
I turn to Psalms and let my soul find rest.
For love endures, transcending time and space,
Uniting us once more in sweet embrace.
