In my reflection, I see the truth laid bare,
Not only as a parent, but as a husband, I err.
I failed to be the godly partner that I should,
But with Jesus’ grace, I’ll strive to be understood.
I should have been a pillar, strong and true,
A loving and faithful husband, just like you.
But amidst my shortcomings, I now confess,
Seeking forgiveness and aiming to progress.
In the shadows of my past, I find remorse,
For moments missed, and a lack of godly course.
But with Jesus as our guide, there’s hope anew,
To rebuild our bond, in love that’s pure and true.
I’ll cherish my spouse with a humble heart,
Honoring and valuing her, playing my part.
Through selflessness and kindness, I’ll strive to be,
The godly husband that she deserves from me.
In prayer and devotion, I’ll seek divine wisdom,
To nurture our love and create a heavenly kingdom.
With open communication and forgiveness’s embrace,
We’ll walk together, sustained by God’s grace.
I’ll cherish her dreams, supporting her with care,
Creating a haven where burdens we can share.
Through understanding and patience, I’ll endeavor,
To be the godly husband, faithful forever.
Though I stumble and falter, I won’t give in,
With Jesus’ love, I’ll overcome and begin.
To be a beacon of love, a steadfast guide,
Walking hand in hand, with Him at our side.
So let our union be a testament profound,
Of redemption, forgiveness, where grace abounds.
For with Jesus as our anchor, our love shall transcend,
And as a godly husband, I’ll seek to the end.
