Poem – Marriage Race

As husband and wife, we embark on a race,
A pursuit of God’s love, at a relentless pace.
Hand in hand, we sprint through life’s stride,
Together we chase the divine, side by side.

With each passing day, our love is the flame,
Igniting our hearts, fueled by a sacred aim.
Through trials and joys, we push on in stride,
Seeking God’s presence, with unwavering pride.

Like runners, we’re steadfast, in sync we move,
Navigating obstacles, our spirits will prove.
Through valleys and mountains, we find our way,
Bound by a bond that strengthens day by day.

In marriage’s race, we spur one another,
Encouraging strides, lifting each other higher.
As teammates and lovers, we share the load,
Inspiring faith and devotion, on this sacred road.

In moments of weakness, we lend a helping hand,
Supporting and uplifting, united we stand.
Through fervent prayers and whispered pleas,
We race towards God, with love as our keys.

With passion and purpose, we sprint as one,
Knowing that together, the race can be won.
With God as our compass, our hearts aligned,
We race towards eternity, forever entwined.

So hand in hand, we run this heavenly track,
Chasing God’s presence, and never looking back.
As husband and wife, united in our quest,
We race to God together, eternally blessed.
