Poem – Her Free

In the shawls of love’s eternal flame,
Where passion burns, my heart aflame,
I must find the strength to let her be,
To give her space, so she feels free.

For when love soars to its highest peak,
And every word and touch we seek,
It takes true courage to step aside,
To honor her needs, let ego subside.

In her eyes, I see a longing gaze,
A yearning for solitude, a gentle haze,
To find her own path, to embrace her grace,
To wander freely, at her own pace.

Though my love for her may reach the skies,
I understand the need to let her rise,
To explore her dreams, her innermost being,
To bloom in her solitude, her spirit freeing.

For love is not a cage that binds,
But a beacon guiding hearts and minds,
To grow and flourish, to find one’s own way,
In the vast expanse of life’s grand ballet.

So I gather strength, in love’s embrace,
To grant her space, with tender grace,
Knowing that our love will endure,
Even when distance may obscure.

For love will find its roots in Jesus,
In giving freedom, it’s the reason,
And in this act of selflessness, I see,
That love’s strength lies in setting her free.

So, I’ll hold her love, steadfast and true,
With faith and patience, our bond will renew,
For in the space we grant, love finds its art,
And together, we’ll soar, never apart.
