Poem – The Union

In the garden of our love’s bloom,
She loves sunflowers, chasing away gloom.
Their vibrant petals, a symbol so true,
Of the love that can blossom between me and you.

In a sacred union once so strong,
Two souls intertwined, where love belonged.
With God by our side, our spirits renewed,
A marriage seeking healing, faith pursued.

But time’s weight has left its mark, misunderstood,
And we seek divine guidance, where love once stood.
Words once gentle now pierce like knives,
Emotional wounds that echo in our lives.

Yet hope resides within these walls,
Where healing whispers softly call.
With God’s grace, we’ll bridge the chasm wide,
Rekindling the flame with love as our guide.

Lowering pride, we humbly must bow,
Acknowledging faults and regrets that somehow
Drove us apart, veiled our true selves,
But in humility’s embrace, our healing delves.

For beneath the layers of hurt and strife,
Lies a love story, graced by God’s light.
With open hearts, we’ll trust in His ways,
As we mend the fractures, seek brighter days.

With patience as our steadfast guide,
We’ll navigate the storms, hand in hand side by side.
Listening, understanding, hearts open wide,
God’s love in our marriage will forever reside.

Like a fragile vessel, let forgiveness pour,
Mending the fragments, as God restores.
With each step taken, faith and love thrive,
And His presence rekindles, no longer in disguise.

Through the darkest nights, we’ll find the dawn,
For God’s love, unwavering, helps us carry on.
So let us dance upon these healing seas,
Embracing the journey, as God sets us free.

With resilience and devotion, together we stand,
Reclaiming the beauty of love’s promised land.
Our pride lowered, our hearts now soar,
With God’s blessing, forevermore.

And in the midst of our love’s sweet bloom,
Sunflowers shine, dispelling any gloom.
Their golden faces, a reminder so true,
Of the love that can blossom again between me and you.
